The problem
Your inventory decisions are scattered
Shopify tracks what you have. It doesn't tell you what to buy next, what's about to stock out, or where to move the units you're already sitting on.
Spreadsheets
Forecasts live outside Shopify
Sales velocity is in one tab, on-hand stock in another, inbound POs in a third. By the time you reconcile them, the numbers are already stale.
Blind buys
POs don't reflect what's already inbound
You reorder a SKU only to realize there's a container arriving next week. Without inbound stock in the math, you double-buy or buy too late.
Stranded stock
One store sells out while another overflows
Inventory sits in a location that isn't selling it. Nobody flags the mismatch, so you discount what you have and reorder what you don't.
Our Story
Built by a merchant, for merchants
Alfred was born out of frustration. As the founder of Capy, a scrub cap brand that scaled from zero to a seven-figure annualized run rate in under two years, I spent hours every week in spreadsheets trying to figure out what to reorder, when, and how much. Existing tools either tracked inventory without forecasting, or forecasted without acting on it — and none of them told me when to move stock between locations as we expanded. So I built Alfred — the inventory tool I wished I had from day one, with the rebalancing and transfer recommendations that were always missing.
One view of what needs attention
Alfred's dashboard pulls every inventory signal into one screen — across buying, selling, and movement — and links each metric straight into the workflow that resolves it.
See what needs attention
Stockout risk, overstock, best sellers, and open purchase work surfaced in one place — no digging through reports to find the products that move the business.
Track inventory health
Stock value, weeks of supply, and location availability across every SKU and store. Spot drift before it becomes a problem.
Jump straight to action
Every card links into a forecast, purchase plan, or transfer workflow. Go from insight to decision without leaving the dashboard.
Inventory Intelligence
Inventory intelligence that stays tied to action
Every metric Alfred surfaces — health, projections, alerts — links into the workflow that resolves it. No more reports that go nowhere.
Health metrics across every SKU and location
Stock levels, total value, weeks of supply, and per-location availability — surfaced together so you can spot the products that need attention without exporting a single CSV.

Purchase Plans
Four ways to build the right order
Alfred turns demand intelligence into ready-to-execute Purchase Plans — calculated down to the unit, supplier, and pack size. Pick the strategy that matches the product.
Meet Forecasted Demand
Calculate reorder quantities from sales velocity, growth assumptions, current stock, and inbound POs.
Maximize Margin ROI
Allocate a fixed budget across products to maximize gross-margin return on every dollar spent.
Maximize Restock Coverage
Restock as many products as possible while balancing weeks of supply across the catalog.
Min/Max Replenishment
For stable, non-seasonal products with fixed reorder points. When stock at a location hits its minimum, Alfred recommends ordering back up to your target — perfect for basics, staples, and continuity products.
Every Purchase Plan calculates recommended quantities, costs, and lead times — with fully transparent formulas, not a black box. See exactly how every number is derived, then convert to a purchase order in seconds.

Multi-shipment per transfer

And prove every move
Every transfer in your store — Alfred-created or not — appears in the Review Inventory Transfers report, with historical cost at the transfer date and a CSV export your accountant will actually use. Built for end-of-month reconciliation and audit support.

Review Inventory Transfers surfaces every transfer in your Shopify store — including ones created in Shopify Admin or by other apps. Filter by date, location, and status; expand any row for per-line detail.
Historical cost at transfer date
Inventory cost on every transfer is resolved against your cost history at the creation date — so accounting and tax filings reflect the cost that was actually in force, not today's price.
Accountant-ready CSV export
Export any filtered view as one-row-per-line CSV with parent transfer context, a currency_code column on every row, and RFC-4180 quoting. Open it in Excel, Numbers, or hand it straight to your accountant.
Recommendation
Standard Rebalance
Move stock where it sells
Alfred watches every location and recommends transfers when one store has too much and another has too little — using per-location min/max thresholds, net of any transfers already in flight.
See Balance Stock in actionThree recommendation types
Standard rebalance (one location is over target, another is under), stockout rescue (a location has hit zero with stock available elsewhere), and emergency rescue (a high-priority site needs cover now).
Priority scoring 0–100
Every recommendation gets a score blending stockout severity, gap to minimum, source position post-transfer, threshold completeness, and sync freshness — then rolls up to High / Medium / Low.
Bulk-create draft transfers
Approve recommendations in bulk; Alfred groups them by source → destination pair in a preview modal so you can review before committing. One click turns them into draft Stock Transfers.
Built so you can trust the queue
Recommendations are scored against in-flight transfers, per-variant-per-location thresholds, and how fresh your inventory sync is — so the next action surfaces at the top, and shaky data gets de-prioritized instead of acted on.

Net of in-flight transfers
Already-in-progress transfers reduce the source's available inventory and add to the destination's projected stock — so Alfred won't double-recommend the same move and won't overdraw a location.
Per-variant-per-location thresholds
Set min and target inventory per variant per location — granular enough that a Brooklyn store can carry 6 of a SKU while the LA warehouse carries 60. Thresholds drive both Balance Stock and Min/Max replenishment.
Completeness & freshness guardrails
Alfred down-weights recommendations when threshold coverage is sparse or when your last inventory sync is stale — so you never act on a confidently-wrong number.
Product Performance
Know which products deserve inventory
Not every SKU earns its shelf space. Alfred benchmarks every product across revenue, velocity, sell-through, margin, and growth — so the next reorder, transfer, and markdown decision goes to the right place.
